+DARKSIDEDAN Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 What do you think is the Best Geocache in Australia? With more than 100,00 caches in Australia I think there will be some interesting answers. Quote
+barefootjeff Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 This is tough because almost all my caching has been in NSW and most around the Central Coast / Hunter / northern Sydney regions, but GC6T5PZ would have to be a strong contender for my vote. It took me three trips spread over a couple of months to complete, with a mix of kayak paddling, some crazy steep hiking and breathtaking panoramic views of the Hawkesbury River from GZ. Published in 2016, it's had 6 finds and received 5 FPs so clearly not for everyone. The Lord Howe Island caches are all pretty good too, it's hard for them not to be in that place, but The Goat House (GC5KCMB) is pretty execptional for the climb and view from GZ. 1 1 Quote
+Goldenwattle Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Many good caches, and this is one of the many good caches. I'm nominating this one, because I was the first to drive it, which meant Canberra down to Victoria and then up the centre to Darwin. Thousands of kms driving. The CO, mtbikeroz, has done a series of these caches, from place to place. I have completed several of them, and I have got as far as the Nullarbor for the one Canberra to Perth. +colleda Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 That's impossible to say unless one has found them all. Better question would be "What is the best cache you've found in Australia?" - so far. 1 Quote
