+stantastic
As a paying Premium Member of the Geocaching community (and Groundspeak) since March of 2001, I've seen GC change so many times over the years, from bad to good, and from good to bad. Since Adventure Labs were added to the mix, there was no easy way to handle them in relation to keeping a database of finds (specifically GSAK), without manually entering the data one AdLab location at a time. When the "ImportAdventureLabs" macro was introduced (and then modified for the better), it made things easy to keep track of one's AdLab finds, their coordinates, and offered an incredibly useful tool of being able to pre-plan trips by loading and viewing the locations that needed to be visited (sometimes more than one AdLab's locations overlapping another). It was bothersome to work on an AL and complete it, only to find there was another one that had you possibly in the same place -- now forcing you to go back to where you where before. Please, please, please, please, PLEASE bring back the ability for the ImportAdventureLabs macro (along with other macros that have been written to access AL data) to make calls to the API and let us cachers enjoy the hobby that we have gotten to love over all these years. 2 2 1 Quote Link to comment

All stages of Lab caches show on my Garmin Oregon 750 map screen. https://gcutils.de/lab2gpx/ still works. Great tip! Thanks. Quote Link to comment

So, let's go for geocaching and have fun :-) Very true. ALC is not Geocaching. In as much, ALC Bonus puzzles should not be published on geocaching.com without a way for a geocacher to solve without having to spend $$$ on a cell phone with a data plan, and then also be forced to use a data collecting app. In my area, we're fortunate enough to have at least one ALC'er placing ALC bonuses that have a simple, solvable puzzle so geocachers can find them as well. 1 3 Quote Link to comment

Don't forget those more remote caches either where the only way to get to them is with an even more expensive motor vehicle. You don't have to be able to find them all. 1 Quote Link to comment
