Rating of Electronic Logs

I noticed there is a rating with every electronic log," Great Story" and "Helpful". What are these for and how are they being used?

Read the release notes near the top of the forum. They tell you everything you need to know.

This is a great feature.  I went back and rated a few logs on some of my caches.

They will be nearly useless.  The only people who will rate logs will be the COs and seekers looking for hints.  It (unintentionally?) incentivizes giving hints in logs.  Seems like a lot of work for a minimal impact.

Should not have said "no one." There are always exceptions. I personally can think of nothing more boring than going through and rating old logs, but I guess there is room for everyons.

I won’t be seeking out old logs to rate, but if I find one that does fit the bill when I’m checking out a cache page, I might click a button occasionally.  (My guess is this is what VP has been doing during the Canadian trial.)
