speedy-1702
Trying to open a listing, that was retracted by a Reviewer, results in Error 404. Wouldn't it be good to see, that the listing is still existing, but was retracted. Instead showing server Error 404 (which appears also when you type a nonexistent GC code) a simple message like "listing was retracted" would be nice. Quote Link to comment
thebruce0
I have a log on a retracted listing so various statistics are permanently inconsistent. Cache isn't available via API but is in the database. Pocket Query includes the data, but Project-GC does not. Retracting is kind of a mixed bag... Quote Link to comment
Viajero Perdido
It's a website bug. Example. At certain times in history, you'd get a page saying "Listing is Retracted", which was more useful. 1 Quote Link to comment
Max and 99
I've seen a lot of retracted geocaches in my area, so when I click on the link from a notification email of new caches published, and get this error, I assume it was retracted. I also have notifications set up for retracted geocaches, but I may not have noticed that email before the first one. Quote Link to comment
Viajero Perdido
Ah, correction, it used to say Cache is Unpublished. ..which is still more informative than 404. Quote Link to comment
