+darrellba
I've noticed that when an owner updates coordinates that they don't show up on the waypoints on the app. The waypoints still show the old ones. If you click on the compass it has the updated coordinates. This can be confusing since we click on waypoints and manually enter those into our GPSr. Quote Link to comment

Can you provide an example to help me out? Quote Link to comment
+darrellba
GC8MK6P You can see in the activity that he changed the coordinates. If you click on Waypoints it still shows the original coordinates. GC7VP41 is the first one I noticed this on. Quote Link to comment

I'm not seeing that in my iPhone app. If you pan away and then pan back (to force a data refresh), do you see a change? Quote Link to comment
+darrellba
This is on the Android app. It doesn't change. I even had a friend tell me yesterday that the coordinates were off on one by over 60 feet but it was just showing the original coordinates when you click on waypoints. Quote Link to comment

+darrellba
My wife and I have two different Android phones. Her Groundspeak Geocaching app doesn't show the updated coordinates on the waypoints either. Edited April 4, 2020 by darrellba Quote Link to comment
+darrellba
That's what is strange. The compass shows the correct ones. But we never use the compass on the app. We click on waypoints and put them into the GPSr. Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
I wish I had an Android phone to test with. Is there any chance you saved that cache for offline use? 1 Quote Link to comment
+darrellba
No. These are from the live map. Quote Link to comment

Both of these show the corrected coordinates as posted coordinates when I click on Waypoints. What phone, and app version are you using? Version 8.18.2 Android 10 Google Pixel Quote Link to comment
