On an Oregon 450, is there a way to bulk delete waypoints in the "Waypoint Manager"?  As opposed to deleting them one at a time.

Thanks.

Not that I've ever seen. I don't believe the newer devices can do this either. At least, you can't on a 600. If you have a lot to delete, the fastest way would be to hook it up to a computer and use that to delete waypoints.

But you CAN delete waypoints in bulk on the Oregon 6x0 and 7x0 series!

See GPSrChive > Oregon 6x0 > Applications > Waypoint Manager > Waypoint List > Delete

Of course, you can. You can even select the kind of symbol (ie: type of waypoint) you want to bulk delete.

Huh. Good to know. I don't usually have to delete more than a couple of waypoints while in the field, but at least that option is there if the need arises. Thanks

True enough, the need to delete in bulk is not very frequent.... But if you were to need to add/remove bulk numbers of waypoints frequently, assigning them a unique symbol (perhaps a custom symbol) would facilitate easy removal from the GPSr when desired!
