Eowyn29635 Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I have a problem. I solved a mystery cache a while ago and went and found it yesterday, but now I can't find it online. I didn't write the cache name down because it was in Hebrew, and I also didn't write the GC code down. Is there a way to log this cache? Thank you, Eowyn29635 Quote
Viajero Perdido Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 The posted coords should be within a few km of where you found it. Fire up the geo-map, or do a search, looking for puzzle caches with posted (fake) coords close to where you found the container. Hopefully you'll recognize it. 1 Quote
Isonzo Karst Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Search, enter your solution coords, filter for Mystery within 3 miles (2 is the limit, but I'd go wider just to cover for oddities). Unless the cache has been archived since you worked it out and found it, that should return it. I assume you'll recognize the title. Quote
wvcoalcat Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 (edited) Maybe it was this one. https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6V0HH Edited April 28, 2019 by wvcoalcat edited to make text a link 1 Quote
papu66 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 If you don't cache much, maybe you can find it in your "recently viewed caches" list on your personal page. (Assuming you opened the cache description to solve it) 1 Quote
alain4s Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 On https://project-gc.com you can search for archived and disabled geocaches. 1 Quote
Arndtwe Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I'll add that you might have luck looking up the usernames/dates of previous finders in the logbook. Often times the logbook also has the GC code written somewhere near the top, but not always. Quote
