GIFF Files - when?

It is 4 days to my GIFF event. When are the files likely to be released to the event organisers? We need a few days in case there are problems with downloading, and to make sure the file will play. If everything goes smoothly there's heaps of time, but if there are problems then the timeframe is getting tight...

The Owner of a GIFF event near my place began to download the files 15 hours ago. I bet this was short after Groundspeak gave him the link.

 

(He took a picture because his ISP's bandwidth is terrible).

It looks like your event was approved as it's on the official Groundspeak list.  Email the GIFF organizers (the contact info is on the GIFF webpage) and ask them for the link to the video if you still need it.  I got mine a week ago.

Hi, an email was sent to you on October 30 from giff@geocaching.com with the film links. I just re-sent it to you now. Some people had issues with the email being sent to spam. If you don't receive it, please email me at giff@geocaching.com (please include your player name and GCcode for quick reference).
