Can't log

For the past two days, I have been unable log anything on any cache page. When I click on "Log geocache" the little green wheel just spins and spins.  All other functions are working well on the website.

Have you tried "opting out", and using the "old" log page?  Hasn't failed me since '04.

Thanks, cerberus1 - I actually tried that a few minutes before your post arrived, and it indeed did work.

The "new logging experience" is broken now, in IE 11.  The form is grayed-out, and there's a green loading circle that just keeps "loading".  AND if logging from Drafts, there's no "Opt Out" for that log page.  You must first Opt Out of the "experience", then click out of the Drafts page to each cache page individually and then Opt Out of the log page, to log each one.  Hey, that is WAY easier than the old experience.  Not.

Does anyone have an ETA when this will be fixed?  All of my notes are stored in the drafts, so it is very difficult to remember each cache if logging directly from the page.  Also, it is WAY more time consuming to pull up each cache page individually.

Been trying to log for hours, same problem. Switch to Chrome and it works, problem is with IE.

I see the same problem in Microsoft Edge 40.15063.0.0.

I guess it will need just a few days more - and then logging wouldn't be working in chrome either.

It seems that they are always looking around "what is working without any problems - oh found someting - lets change it and call it a better experience."

I have been able to confirm that this issue exists for both Edge and IE11. I have reported the issue to the engineering team and I suspect that they will be on it tomorrow. In the meantime, you should be able to log successfully using another browser such as Chrome or Firefox.
