+en Creshio
I feel a little silly asking this, but I can't find the meaning anywhere... What does SQ stand for? I can gleam that it has something to so with cemeteries, since that is where I typically see it, but what does it stand for? Quote Link to comment

It's usually a safe bet that the person using a term knows what it means. Quote Link to comment

+suchanana
NorthWest Ohio here... The "SQ" in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project by the Northwest Ohio Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries and memorial gardens. Quote Link to comment

And Florida: The Florida Spirit Quest series of geocaches will take you to a number of historic sites and cemeteries built by Florida Pioneers. In six years, the Spirit Quest has grown to over 800 caches hidden in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Ontario and the hiders have grown to over fifty cacher teams. Thousands of cacher teams have logged over 50,000 finds on these series. http://coord.info/GC1R2MZ Florida Spirit Quest #001: The Lighthouse Keeper http://coord.info/GC1RJ40 Florida Spirit Quest #003: Rebels and Peacocks http://coord.info/GC1RJ3J Florida Spirit Quest #004: Chris Columbus, Rebel http://coord.info/GC1TQXA Florida Spirit Quest #005: The Light and the Life http://coord.info/GC3BA91 SQ Williams Cemetery http://coord.info/GC3GZG8 Saint Leo Cemetery- SQ And North Carolina: http://coord.info/GC3ABGH Proximity Mill Cemetery SQ http://coord.info/GC3ANJP SQ BYG Blake and Michigan: https://www.geocaching.com/play/search?kw=Spirit+Quest&r=23 b. +niraD
FWIW, none of the cemetery caches I've found (in California, Oregon, and Massachusetts) have been called "Spirit Quest" (or "SQ") caches. There was one "Spirit Trap" cache, but that was near a labyrinth, not a cemetery. Quote Link to comment
