+TriciaG
The past couple days, I've been happily humming along, logging caches on the website, only to discover that they were logging as another day. Yesterday (August 1) they logged as July 27; today as August 1. Basically, they were logging as the last day I had logged a cache. Once I corrected the date on a log, the rest were correct. I assume I could log out then log back in, or simply check the stupid date before logging a cache on a new day, but I've never had to do that before. I'm using Firefox 36.0 (yeah, older version, but the newer one breaks something in my #1 visited website, so I'm not upgrading just yet) on Windows 7. Quote Link to comment
+Mcpat12
I have been experiencing the same issue I also live in the USA and this is very annoying. I have had to go back and edit some of the logs so I had the right date. I am using a Windows Vista PC and I have been using Chrome. Also my CMOS battery is fine. I think its more of a issue on the website side then the user side. Edited August 3, 2015 by mcpat12 Quote Link to comment

+funkymunkyzone
I'm pretty glad it sticks to the date of the last log entered, otherwise as a non North American I'd have to change the date on every single log! Seems like it's working perfectly! Quote Link to comment

Seems like it's working perfectly! No, recently it has not worked perfectly. It used to stick to the date of the last log just for a certain reasonable period of time and this period now seems to be too long. I appreciated that the date did not change back instantly as I often log several caches for another day, but say the next day or as now even after some days the log date should not be automatically the date of the last log. +thanman2
+1. I first noticed the change in behavior within the last 30 days, I think. So some time in July. Here's what just happened to me...hadn't logged a cache in three days. Logged two Found Its and two DNFs via the "log visit" link on the website...all four logs were dated August 4 (three days ago, the last date I had previously logged visits). Had to go and edit all four. I do not think this happens when I log via the mobile app, nor via the API (c:geo app). I use Firefox on Windows...haven't tried to see if the problem happens on any other browser/platform config. Quote Link to comment
+Manville Possum
Same here. I logged from my android app and it logged the correct date. The other geocacher with me that day logged from their PC and it went back several days to when they had last logged a cache. Quote Link to comment
+bitmapped
Did you look at the date listed when entering the log? Quote Link to comment
+funkymunkyzone
At least this is consistent behaviour for everyone in the world. Quote Link to comment
