+bneff
I am going to attempt my first Multi-Cache with a puzzle. The description says "bring your decoder ring." What does this mean exactly? Edited July 23, 2015 by bneff Quote Link to comment

+cerberus1
It might simply be the decryption key from cache pages, or (depending on difficulty rating) be a toughie. Quote Link to comment
fendmar
You could ask the cache owner. YMMV! Quote Link to comment

Previous respondents are not not purposely not telling you "what that means exactly"; they (we) simply don't know and are guessing at possibilities. Your best answer would come from the cache owner, or if that doesn't get you anywhere, from a previous finder of the cache. Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
I am going to attempt my first Multi-Cache with a puzzle. The description says "bring your decoder ring." What does this mean exactly? Found the cache you are asking about. It seems to be a multi-cache with a field puzzle. I would read the cache page again, then go to the location and see what's what. Also, read the previous logs to see if information in them might help. If all else fails, contact the cache owner for help. It is rated a D2, so I think it shouldn't be "that" difficult, but I do believe you need to be at the location to figure it out. B. Edited July 23, 2015 by Pup Patrol Quote Link to comment
