+Write and Mane
Someone has just logged one of our travellers that was last reported in June 2007. Is a disappearance of nearly 8 years a record? This traveller started life in a race in memory of Mark "the Cat" Thompson, but went missing from the off for over a year, so got nowhere in the race. After a short period of activity around the eastern USA, it went into hibernation again, but we have decided that it is persistent enough to warrant changing its goal to "return to the UK". Perhaps some longer term cachers will remember Mark for his gruelling tour round the UK in a cache - his car. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
If they have found it great! I'm dubious as it's a Discovered log... Newish cachers, maybe an email to ask them to GRAB the TB may confirm they have it, and allow them to then log a DROP when they place it in a cache. Quote Link to comment
+Original A1
How coincidental. I was talking to another cacher about "The Cat" about 10 days ago in Orkney, when mentioning his Hardknott Pass cache. Flew to Shetland and the following day found his "Shetland Overview" cache. Many days, weeks and months without giving him much thought (I never met him) and then three mentions in quick succession! (Those two are great caches, btw.) Quote Link to comment
Dave from Glanton
Back in January this year I started seeing logs for one of my TBs which had last been heard of back in the summer of 2008. It was quite a nice trinket so I assumed somebody had just decided to keep it and I had pretty much given up hope of it resurfacing...looks like I was wrong :-) Quote Link to comment
