+gunpowder
I haven't been caching in awhile due to medical. Kids want to go caching so reloaded GSAK on my new desktop and reloaded basecamp and mapsource. The computer can see the card but the various software can't see the GPSR to transfer the waypoints. +Gitchee-Gummee
You've been "vacationing" from geocaching for almost two years. If your browser of choice is still Internet Express, you have work to do (because of updates). Read up on what you might have to do, select your browser version from the drop-down (right side): http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11 I understand that Chrome is acting the same way, although I don't think there is a fix for it. Mozilla Firefox still works well for most of us. Quote Link to comment
+Timpat
Try updating or re-installing the Garmin USB Driver found Here If that doesn't solve it, go into your PC Device Manager and find the Garmin USB drive and see if oyu disable/enable it (or similar). I recall my old 60Cx would have a hiccup from time to time and corrupt the driver. Quote Link to comment
+Red90
It has been awhile, but if the GPS is in mass transfer mode so that the card is visible, I don't think you can transfer waypoints. It needs to be in "Garmin" interface mode to allow waypoint transfer and yes the USB driver must be installed on the computer. Quote Link to comment
