How do I report that the waymark is needing maintanance or archiving?

For example, by webcams WMKQT and WMBNQP the links are no longer working.

You don't. It's up to the WM owner. I once logged a Tennessee Historical Marker in the State of Tennessee, but it's listed here as being in Alabama.

You can place a comment on the Waymark and the owner of the Waymark will see it.

For the Waymark listed in the wrong state you can edit the Waymark to correct the state.

I forgot that we could edit other users waymarks. I don't think I have ever used that feature.

I have logged some nonexsitant ghost signs that have been over painted, and I know of one Army tank that is no longer present but the waymark still exists. I think it is OK just to leave things be, maybe it will reappear again. I just listed a relocated statue last week. It is listed in two other categorys, I think the WM owner updated their coordinates too. :anibad:

Yeah, OK, but when the owner is inactive and the waymark is gone?

Or, it was never there?

Is there any procedure for archiving waymark without consent of the waymark owner?

Members of the category group can archive the waymark.

Use the edit functionality and edit the title to say [Legacy] in front, and add a comment to the bottom of description.

just because it is no longer there doesn't make the historical information less valuable.
