+Copaman
It used to be that I would generate the cache page, and then just before publication, I would create a GPX file to put on my GPSr, and then I would go out and try to find it using the GPX file to make sure I hadn't messed up the coordinates and to get a good feel to make sure all was good. For a few months now, that hasn't been working, but the "Send to my GPS" was an alternative. Now that is not working either. Any idea of how to do this? Yes, I could just create a way point, but I always liked having the whole GPX file (with description, hint, etc) to make sure all of it was good. Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
+Beach_hut
I don't recall that facility ever being offered, but I might be wrong? I know every time I've tried in the last few years, it's not worked. There's a good reason why they wouldn't let you do that, but I'll leave that out of the discussion for now. You could make a GPX? Takes only a minute or so with GSAK. Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Or read the coords on the webpage and put them manually into the gps. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
You're the second person to mention that they had been able to "send to gps" an unpublished listing. Apparently true for some for a time, but it was a bug, not a site feature. To test your coords, per Walts Hunting, load them manually into your gps unit. Quote Link to comment
