+bassocantor
Attached small mp3 files (10 sec length) just fine in earwigo. Have them go off on zone entry or exit, or after button push. In emulator, first one works okay, but with a few mp3's in different zones, emulator crashes at random places. Doesn't seem consistent. Aargh! I wanted to make the Wherigo experience be like an audio tour (as opposed to reading text), but this seems impossible. Any way around this? Quote Link to comment
+jonny65
No problem, I have 34 MP3 and several FDL (for garmin) soundfiles in my cartridge. If sometimes a crash occurs, the sound files aren't the reason for this. But remember : In emulator you OFTEN have crashes if a sound should be played. This is a known "bug" in emulator. +bassocantor
Thanks jonny65. I think that's good news. But how did you test your design if the emulator keeps crashing? Quote Link to comment
Geo-Magician
... But how did you test your design if the emulator keeps crashing? I assume Jonny65 uses the "save and continue" statement of Wherigo to save the cartridge while it is played. If you add this statement to the OnEnter event of each zone you will be able to resume the game after a crash. Quote Link to comment
