make a pocket query that shows recently placed TB's?

Sure, used the "date placed" option on the pocket query page + has trackables.

This won't focus on trackable placed dates, but if you're only hunting caches placed in the last 6 months, that have trackables listed, the odds of finding a TB/coin are slightly better.

You can do a small bit to improve the missing trackable situation by posting notes to the TRACKABLE page (use the reference number to do this) that the item is missing from the cache where listed. Many people add notes to their log of cache page about "bug not in cache". The cache owner may or may not care, or even know which bug (coin) is being referenced. It's easier to move the trackable owner to act to "mark missing". Also easier for admins to mark missing if there are logs on the trackable page.

Good luck

Thanks, I have been sticking notes, and have asked for a couple to be marked missing. Also, am starting to remember which ones aren't there. But in a new area this makes it all a little more laborious!! Maybe they could think about adding a 'TB added in last 7 days' option hmmmmm! :antenna:

To date I have left similar notes for about 550 trackables. 79 of those were in the last two weeks.

Of course, it would be REALLY nice if there were a feature to recommend trackables be marked missing, rather than just leaving notes...

Hopefully that goes through...How can we make other suggestions?????

Continued posts to the existing threa 21213 [FEATURE] System to remove "ghost" trackables may help move it up on the development list.

Starting new threads on roughly the same topic will not help.

If you have suggestions about other things, by all means start a thread - after using the search function to see if your idea has already been offered in an existing thread.

Search is touchy, so you might miss something, don't feel badly. Occasionally Jon will combine multiple threads on the same topic, or you'll post something, and a forum regular will direct you to the existing similar thread. It's okay...
