+trailblaze-atruebrit
Hi I have the 30 day trail on my new Garmin etrex 20, it uploads the caches, but not the description. It keeps saying I need a premium memeber, but i thought I was a premium for 30 days? Thanks Anita Quote Link to comment
+JPatton
Did you load caches to the gps before you became a Premium Member? Try deleting all the caches from the gps and then reloading them. The gps units don't seem to like it when there are caches that were loaded while both a premium and a regular member. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
JPatton is correct. If you had any caches loaded prior to your PM status, you must remove all remnants of those caches before loading any after PM status. Tricky little things, those Garmin Gremlins... Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
As above! And. Make sure you are loading GPX files, they have all the information. If you load LOC files you only get cache name and coordinates. Quote Link to comment

As per the previous posts, I think you will need to delete ANY files you loaded before you became a Premium Member. Garmins have a default to only show basic member information -ie very little- if Premium Member caches are loaded whilst basic member files are on the unit. Quote Link to comment

First of all, there is no "upload to gps" button. IF you are on a cache page the the button you may be clicking is "Send to My GPS" Is that what you are doing? It was suggested that you clean out your GPS of all previous cache information. Have you done that? Also is your computer a Mac or a PC? (It makes a difference.) The more precise you are in describing your problem (step by step) the quicker we will be able to give you a solution so you can better enjoy the world of caching! Quote Link to comment
