nonaeroterraqueous Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 I loved the feel of hand carved stamps in the Letterboxes around here. I hated the feel of carving my hand while trying to make a letterboxing stamp. It was my most in-depth experience with an exacto knife, and I found the task...exacting. Now, I've got an ugly stamp at home, and I'm not too motivated to go out use it. It's too bad, because I really could have enjoyed the game. Quote
AZcachemeister Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 No, I was not, the letterbox rules and/or interpretations have dictated you must include the final cache coordinates whether they are the listed coordinates or as a non-hidden final waypoint where the listed coordinates are the starting point. I imagine its possible that some reviewers in different regions have not adopted this interpretation, but in the Pacific Northwest, you must include the final coordinates. Obviously some older LBHs do not have them, but newer ones do. There is no requirement that you need to have the actual coordinates posted... See lamoracke's quote above. Quote
+fuzziebear3 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Actually I've carved a couple stamps and found the activity to be enjoyable, and not too difficult (especially if you pick a simple icon/image to carve). Get the speedball gouge set, and the 'pink stuff' from your local craft store. Try it, you can do it, and it is fun! Quote

Could someone point out this guideline? I have not been able to find it. Quote
