+xGoddogx
I do alot of caching with family and friends but they started way before me so when I go caching by myself I like to try and get those caches they already have and leave the caches they dont have to those days when we need to go caching. So I thought if a feature under the 'That (And)' where it has options such as 'I haven't found', 'I don't own', 'Is Enabled' and maybe something like "(Username) found" could exist and you would be able to have a scroll down or such that you could then choose that username and it would give you those requirements. Giving you the caches you have not yet found but a friend of yours has and you would limit that to 500 caches still and be able to just download that onto a gps and just go... Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
You can do that... of sorts. On the "Find/Hide A Cache" page, you can enter the name of your friend into "Caches found by Username". That would provide you with a list which you can then bookmark and run a PQ. Quote Link to comment
+xGoddogx
yea but to individually put 500 caches into a bookmark and then make a PQ that would take just aslong as what im doing right now. Quote Link to comment

I agree with this idea. Coupled with the friends list, to make the feature managable, would also add some value to the friends feature. But would it be a single or multi-select list? I guess single would work on Garmins, Satmaps where you can show multiple PQs, but wouldn't work on Android where you can only see one PQ at a time. Quote Link to comment

Do you use GSAK? Piece of cake with the GetGeocaches interface. The found caches by up to five other cachers can be ignored on the download. And if you focus on one or two features at a time the learning curve is pretty flat. And to all the naysayers that will jump in, do you want to speculate how long it will take Groundspeak to get around to this feature and do you think it will really work? +GeePa
I like this it would be a really great way to separate caches for caching with different groups. Quote Link to comment
+GeoMarik
I too would love this feature. I know the iPhone app has an "Exclude Finds By User", I would think they could do include or something like that. @jholly, I would like to know more about how your are doing this with GSAK and if it works with an iPhone. +DonB
How about getting a copy of your friends "my finds" PQ, however many and merge them with EasyGPS? Edited September 24, 2012 by DonB Quote Link to comment
