The Cache Reviewing Process

What does the cache reviewing process involve?

Critically, from the cache placers perspective, it involves being able to receive email from noreply@geocaching.com.

I mention this because if you've submitted a geocache for review, you were sent an email from that address, and that email answers in part the questions you just asked.

Often, people don't see this email, because it's caught in a spam filter, or even blocked by their ISP. You really need to be able to get those emails, because

if there are questions by the reviewer, they'll come the same way.

The reviewer checks that your cache submission complies with the Guidelines:

How long does it usually take?

A lot of useful information can be found in the Help Center:

This exact question is answered right here:

4.2. Publication of Caches

I have come to believe that Pup Patrol is not a real person but a computer data base search engine for the GS Knowledge Books and Help pages. Keep up the good work. :D

Perhaps, but puppatrolling can never replace markwelling. It just doesn't have the same ring.

I initially read that as puppa-trolling

Thanks, that's what I thought he was saying. :P
