BC Geocaching Association New Coin

The new BC Geocaching Association coin is now on sale to the public.

This is a slightly irregular-shaped coin - a stylized tree slice, large (2“) with a nice heft. The outside ring represents the bark and foliage of the Western Red Cedar, while the tree rings are textured into the metal. The maple leaves in the forefront of the front and back measure the seasons from spring, through summer, and into the fall on the different finishes. The tracking code is engraved on the whimsical "micro in the woods" bison tube.

The back echoes the front and features a sculpted photo of an alpine mountain scene. This picture is of Drinnon Pass in Valhalla Provincial Park in the Selkirk Range of mountains in British Columbia Canada. The edge of the coin reads “We know a place - We’d like to share” “Come along - We’ll show you where”.

I'm not a "registered" member yet. If I send in my application, can I purchase coins at the same time so I can have them in time for Christmas. Even better - can I meet up with the Burnaby contact and pay in cash?
