+Labrador Wild Man Posted November 5, 2011 Share Posted November 5, 2011 Help just not sure Using a a/c adapter plug in on the 62s can it be done When i have it connected to the Computer by UBS dose it run on that power or the battiers? I have a Garmin Nuvi 775T that i have the adapeter for and the car adapeter which will fit the 62s just used up one set of battiers just fing how to use it anyhelp would be great thanks LWM Quote Link to comment

+Chrysalides Posted November 6, 2011 Share Posted November 6, 2011 I agree that rechargeable batteries is the way to go if you're using up batteries at the rate of a pair every one or two weeks. Get NiMH, and if you tend to leave them lying around, get the low self discharge NiMH (e.g. Eneloop). Back to your original question, if the 775T car adapter is mini USB, you should be able to use it to power your 62s. Note that it will NOT recharge any rechargeable batteries, it will merely use USB power instead of battery power when connected. Quote Link to comment
