GPS will not save caches already found

I'm trying to save caches already found on my device (Garmin GPSmap 60CSx), for support.

The device will not save the cache, even if the box says it's saved sucessfully.

Is this correct? Why?

Thanks for any comments!

What is your cache display set to? Nearest or by name?

How far away are these caches?

The algorithm for the nearest is 100 miles or nearest 50, whichever is smaller. To see all the cache you need to switch to by name.

Thanks, the both of you.

The cache is close, and the GPS saves “unfound” caches both closer and further away.

I need to save a few already found caches to support my sister in learning and troubleshooting her GPS.

I found the cache in my “deleted items”, and will insert it from there.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but a "found" cache on that device becomes a waypoint.

Bingo!

You won't find them under Find Geocaches because those liste there are only waypoints that have the closed treasure chest icon. Look in Find Waypoints.
