+NYPaddleCacher
I am in Washington DC for a conference for the next few days. A few colleagues and I drove down this morning from NY, I checked into my room then went back downstairs when the building started shaking. I lived in California for 40 years so I knew it was an earthquake, except we don't get earthquakes, and certainly of that magnitude (5.9, centered about 100 miles south of here) are extremely rare. So, being in Washington DC I started to wonder...fortunately is *was* only an earthquake. They evacuated the building, so what did I do? I went geocaching. I only went and found a virtual but I found a really cool spot for a Challenge. Although it's near the same location as the virt, the action that I'd associate with it is pretty unique. +humboldt flier
To The Cacher Who Paddles: I sent you that "shaker" to take your mind off the incoming storm. Glad you are safe. ( 5.9 "ain't nuttin" ) LOL Quote Link to comment
+succotash
If you get a chance while in DC, we recommend the virtual Last Stop for a Weary Traveler. In this case the favorite system is right on - it has over 270 favorite points and it is unforgettable. Quote Link to comment
