+scenic explorer
I have been geocaching for almost a year but using trimble via my blackberry. For my birthday i am interested in getting a GPS but really dont know which way to go. I live in the UK would like one with waypoint averaging as i really enjoy hiding my own as well as finding them. But i dont want anything too complicated. Does anyone have any recommendations???? Thanks Quote Link to comment
DaK-mojave
Guess that depends on how much you want to spend. We have the 450T and like everything except for the fact that it is hard to read while out running around in the Jeep, no matter the sun angle. Don't know if it does the waypoint averaging, feature I've never used. Quote Link to comment
+eusty
I I think most recent GPSr units have waypoint averaging..the Garmin Dakota and Oregon do. As has been said what you get depends on your budget Quote Link to comment
+CacheFreakTim
We are about a week or two away from the new eTrex units coming out. Might be worth waiting. Quote Link to comment

+michaelnel
After about a year of fixing bugs, they may actually BE awesome too. Quote Link to comment

And waiting for the ridiculous initial price to drop will take some time. What is your price range and what other things do you want besides waypoint averaging. Garmin is the only brand I saw on amazon Uk and their prices were high compared to here in the USA, perhaps Vat? Quote Link to comment
