+BasicPoke Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Hello all, Do you know of any way to read a benchmark web page from geocaching.com without all the new menu stuff? Just a simple page with the benchmark info and logs is all I want, for slower connctions. Thanks BasicPoke Quote
AZcachemeister Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Can we view Benchmarks on the WAP site? Never tried it, but that may be your answer. Quote
+BasicPoke Posted July 11, 2011 Author Posted July 11, 2011 That would be nice but I don't see anything about benchmarks there at wap.geocaching.com. BasicPoke Can we view Benchmarks on the WAP site? Never tried it, but that may be your answer. Quote
2oldfarts (the rockhounders) Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Depending on what you want to do with the info, there is a work around that can save you some internet time. Go here and download the counties that you will be hunting benchmarks in. If you do not have GSAK, go here and download it. If you do have GSAK you can create a button that will open the GC.com page for a high-lighted benchmark to check for the recovery logs from cachers. The county downloads on Holographs site are pretty complete and up to date so you can review the benchmarks at your leisure since the file and GSAK will be on your computer and no other internet access is required (Except for when you want to know if it has been logged on GC.). +billwallace Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 I found this at Planet Zhanna (down ant the bottom of the page), and changed it for gc.com. Make a boomark and insert this as the location. It will pop up a box, asking for the pid and then take you there. javascript:void(str=prompt('PID:',''));if(str){location.href='http://www.geocaching.com/mark/details.aspx?PID='+escape(str);} Quote
