Hi!

 

How can i change the body background of my log ?

See for example http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=20818

That page has a body background picture from http://img.Groundspeak.com/cache/20818_200.jpg

 

So, what do i have to do to change the body background of some of my log pages ?

In your cache description, add this line:

 

 

Replace the URL with the URL of the image you want to use. If you want the background to "move" with the page, remove the BGPROPERTIES="fixed" part.

Ok. Put this in your cache description text at the top;

 

 

A little advice, its best to get a pic of something that doesnt cause such a tiling effect as in the example above. Look at one of mine for an example of smooth background effect: Phantasmagoria

Actually, you can do it as follows:

 

 

which doesn't require a fixed tag. See Angel Peak Cache as an example of a regular image, which does tile the image and allows it to scroll with the text. This works pretty well and loads a bit faster.

There's another way that, in my opinion, looks a little better. I used it on Perfectly Perplexing Puzzles.

 

To do this, put something like the following at the beginning of the description:

and at the end, close the element with

</div>
