Afterburned
Got a FTF today (yay), sitting here this evening and updating my profile made me look at my previous FTF's - and I have to say the most memorable was my first. It was the day after an event and there was one cache left, down a country lane. I parked a little way away, got the cache which was in the roots of a large tree - then a car came down the lane, lost control and hit the tree I was behind! It was not that damaged and drove off, I am sure they saw me as they drove away, in a suit and tie I must have looked odd standing behind a tree! The cache was called 'Duck, Duck, Goose'. And that was my first FTF! Others have been fun but not quite as memorable - any other stories out there? Quote Link to comment
tiffydelmar
Wow! I'm glad you weren't hurt! I haven't had any FTFs yet. One day, one day... Quote Link to comment
wimseyguy
Pretty memorable indeed. But the last guy who posted in here about a special FTF find found a fiancee at the cache. Quote Link to comment

dfx
My most memorable FTF was definitely on http://coord.info/GC2R8DW No exciting story to tell, but the pictures speak for themselves. Quote Link to comment
gelfling6
I would have to say, most memorable FTF, was Jewel Of A View, not only for me, but for a poor hapless mountain biker who almost got a mouth full of hiking pole when his clearing of his throat scared the living crap outta me. I think the log best tells the story....The whole story! Quote Link to comment
Viajero Perdido
This was quite memorable for me. A lonely cache on a mountaintop that had waited 3 years for its first find. You never know for sure until you open the book... Edited June 24, 2011 by Viajero Perdido Quote Link to comment
Andromeda321
I have a few, but in hindsight one of the best was how there'd been a GIANT snowstorm the night before- like a foot of snow- and I woke up to 3 new caches in a nearby cemetery. I was FTF on all 3 because none of the roads were not plowed and I was the only person close enough to walk even tho at the time I'd only found maybe 20 caches. Quote Link to comment
