+currykev
Hi, TRAD and PUZZLE caches used to be seperate on PQ's, but now, for some strange reason, they are bundled as 1. Can I perform a PQ without puzzles? Without having to use GSAK or similar. Quote Link to comment
+hydnsek
Where do you see that? I still see them listed separately - Traditional Cache, Unknown Cache - in the choices under Selected Types in the Pocket Query form. Quote Link to comment
+DazeDnFamily
We actually run 2 "normal" pq's. One runs daily, and gets everything that is not a multi or puzzle, and the other runs every other day and gets the multi's and puzzles. As the other guy said, you just check/uncheck the boxes on the pq sheet. EDIT to add a screen capture of how I do that on the pq screen. Edited June 6, 2011 by DazDnFamily Quote Link to comment
+currykev
Is an Unknown cache a puzzle cache? As when I download a PQ with TRAD only, it still includes puzzle caches. Edited June 6, 2011 by Chili-K Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
PQ's have a weird bit of programming. In the Select Cache Type, you need to uncheck select all, as well as selecting which caches you want. It really should be, when you check a cache type you want, the Select all should uncheck automatically! Quote Link to comment
+currykev
Thanks everyone. I'll test it and see how I go. Cheers. Quote Link to comment
Pup Patrol
Is an Unknown cache a puzzle cache? As when I download a PQ with TRAD only, it still includes puzzle caches. Puzzle caches should be under the "Unknown" category. When a puzzle cache is created, the cache owner has to check that category before it's published. So a puzzle cache should not be showing up with the "Traditional" caches. See the screen shot in DazDnFamily's post. Quote Link to comment

I just assumed the first time that when I checked a type it would uncheck the all. I also thought that when I filled in a zip code (or another box in the location area) that it would check that box but it doesn't. Quote Link to comment
