+HappyJacks
When I go to 'Hide and Seek a Cache' and 'Search with Google Maps' I get a default of Green Lake and have to put in a 'Zoom to Address' Is there a way to set a local default rather than Green Lake so I don't have to zoom off? +Student Camper
Go to your profile page and enter your home location, when done, the page will open showing all the caches in a 10/15 mile radius from your home, found/not found. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Yup, you gotta have your (home?) coords entered. Must also SAVE! I believe that you must log out and re-log in. Also, am told that multiple servers are utilized, effect may not be immediate. Quote Link to comment
+HappyJacks
Something not right then - I entered my home location when I first registered and then checked it again recently (a few weeks ago0 because I suspected this might be the case. If I go to 'update your home location' in my profile it shows my home location is set correctly. I will redo it and see what happens. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Once you get the map where you want it - you can also just bookmark it and return to that bookmark (favorite). Quote Link to comment
wvmtb
I'm having the same trouble. I have done all of the following: Set my home location Logged in and out on different computers Zoomed to my home location and bookmarked it Even used different browsers (FireFox 3.6 & IE 8.0) Still every time it defaults to Green Lake. Maybe it would just be easier to Seattle! Quote Link to comment

wvmtb
Yea, I used the bookmark but I see what I did wrong now. Sometimes doing the simplest thing a person can feel like an idiot. But thanks for your reply. Quote Link to comment
