trotterlg Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 I have a new hide that is going on 5 full days without being reviewed. Is there a flaw in the review system that lets thing get "lost"? I checked the logs and there is no action other than what I have entered. Do reviewers ignore some to investigate them or is this a normal thing? Approaching a week without review seems to be excessive to me. Larry Quote
+TerraViators Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Probably could be a number of reasons. Have you tried to contact the reviewer? Quote

This is a common error. It isn't obvious that you should hide your cache and have everything in place before the cache gets reviewed. For other tips on getting you cache reviewed see the knowledge books article Getting Your Cache Listed Quickly Quote
+briansnat Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 It's in the review queue awaiting its turn. I'm sure the reviewer will get to it as soon as he can. Quote
+gpsfun Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 The correct boxes are checked and I'm sure the reviewer will get to it soon. Quote
trotterlg Posted February 5, 2011 Author Posted February 5, 2011 Thank you for your thoughts on this. I am an old and patient person, just didn't want to be waiting on something that was unlikely to happen if something was incorrectly done. Quote

+StarBrand Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 The reviewers are unpaid volunteers and cachers as well. Life sometimes happens. I've had caches published in as little as 5 minutes and as long as 10 days. If the hide fell within the guidelines - it'll be ok. Quote
