GreenvilleMayor
I'm fairly new to the game and have seen in a few geocache descriptions of something called a "Whizbang". What exactly are they talking about when they list their item this way? Thanks, Greenvillemayor Quote Link to comment
Ike 13
Not a common term. Ask the cache owner. Quote Link to comment

cyrnus
I know I'm waking an old thread for this, however in my defense this thread was the number one result when I did a Google search for 'whizbang container'. This is a fairly popular container in the Louisville Kentucky and surrounding areas. They are typically made from the tops of two soda bottles that have been glued together. I've attached a link from the wonderful people at podcacher that shows how to make one (though they didn't know the name whizbang when they made the video) Quote Link to comment
cache_n_out
I make them from pop and gatorade bottles/lids. Yep learned in from the KY folks. Versus the youtube video I trim the bottle, use hot glue gun and then press fit the second lid on. Edited April 21 by cache_n_out 1 Quote Link to comment

colleda
"smelling fruity" could attract cache stealing critters. If I recycle containers that may have contained foodstuff I will first wash them in soapy water then rinse with white vinegar. 2 Quote Link to comment
