Bloencustoms
I've been thinking about putting a tag on a notebook. Has anyone done this yet? Is it an appropriate travel bug? I came up with this idea while writing in a logbook in the field. There usually aren't any stable writing surfaces (other than your knee) when logging a cache, and I think this might cause some cachers to write less descriptive entries than they would otherwise. I know that environmental factors like mosquitos shorten my entries quite a bit. Anyway, a notepad as a TB would bring the cache to the cacher and allow people to write in the comfort of their own homes. Any thoughts? Quote Link to comment
evergreenhiker!
Sure! Earlier this year, I retrieved a TB that was a logbook that had cachers listing their favorite caches. Cool idea I thought! Here are the details of that bug: http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=10670 Have fun! Quote Link to comment
Renegade Knight
It's different...er creative. Go for it. Just be sure to have a way to put more paper in it. Wherever you go there you are. Quote Link to comment
carleenp
I have seen a couple of notebook bugs when browsing through the bug gallery. My newest bug which has not been released yet will have a small notebook and envelope attached. The goal is for people to decorate the bug and log, and write or draw things in the log. When it starts getting full, it's goal will be to come home. Quote Link to comment

WildcatRegi
DeBergerac the Bug Here's a notebook that's a travel bug where you compose a little poem about where and how you found it. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the good poems (no danger of seeing mine) are posted on the website. "The hardest thing to find is something that's not there!" Quote Link to comment
