+rob3k
Noticed a week ago that the back of my Colorado has a crack. It's in the black plastic piece that slides off the unit. It's not cracked all the way through to inside any of the rubber gaskets so I expect it is still waterproof, but I don't plan to test that out. Probably only a matter of time until it splits completely apart and I'll have to duct tape it together. Anyone have something I can use to attempt to stop the bleeding? The battery cover has a vertical crack running directly up from the mounting spine. Quote Link to comment
+tarbal
Contact Garmin you may be pleasantly surprised. They replaced a unit of mine that I had worn out a rubber button. The unit was 4+ years old. It can not hurt to try. They may send you a new cover. Edited July 1, 2010 by tarbal Quote Link to comment
