Deceangi
It is with a sad heart, that I have to announce the sudden death of David Windsor-henry the thirst Whilst never a prolific Geocacher, David was known to many as a person who was full of life. His blog can be found here The thoughts of my family and myself go out to David's Family. David's caches will live on as a happy Geocaching memory of him. +Bambography
It is always sad to hear of the loss of a member of the caching community, whether you know them personally or not. I didn't know David, but my heart goes out to his family and friends. Quote Link to comment
+Silver Horde
I knew Henners through his blog and a chat room he used. I've found an early cache of his and had the others on my watch list waiting for the chance to do them on a visit home. I will miss him. Quote Link to comment
+Pharisee
I met 'Henry' on a couple of occasions. Most notably when we spent a long weekend playing pirates on a huge narrowboat on the River Wey Navigation. He will be missed, not least by the west country apple growers Henry the Thirst (in the yellow shirt) with Omally, Merman, Trouty, MCL and SimonG. Quote Link to comment
+Simply Paul
I'm another cacher who didn't personally know David, but the loss of a cacher is always sadly felt. His blog shows a man who was living his life right up to the end. Thanks for that link, the photo and RIP Henry the Thirst. Quote Link to comment

+Haggis Hunter
As like others I never knew or met David, but my thoughts are with his family. On a lighter note, I'm jealous of friends that he kept, such as David Tennant and Patrick Stewart. Quote Link to comment
+vw_k
Such sad news. The first cache I ever found was placed by David, his "Weyside Wander" series inspired one of my caches and we'd exchanged e-mails when things came full circle and he'd found one of my caches. I knew where he kept his narrowboat and passed it occasionally but never had the chance to meet him in person. Quote Link to comment
+MeerRescue
I never met 'Henry' either, but thanks to the link to his blog, I sat and read the whole lot this morning, not that I had meant to, rather than doing the jobs I was supposed to have done. So, here's a swig to you David, RIP. MeerRescue Quote Link to comment
+Dorsetgal & GeoDog
I did not know David / Henry either, but the loss of a community member is always sad and my thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP Quote Link to comment
