ipplepen
Has anyone else had problems recently appear with the GSAK macro PUP PORT? Since upgrading my PC to Windows 7, all my cache exports to memory map appear as traditional icons. Discussed this with a caching friend running vista who is experiencing exactly the same problem. Both of us can't recall changing anything on our set ups. The copy installed on my windows 2000 machine still works fine. Any ideas how to get it all working again? I will try and post on NWcaching site/get in touch with the popuppirate and will update thread if I get an answer there first. Edited April 7, 2010 by ipplepen Quote Link to comment
+dino-irl
I had similar problems with moving from XP to Win7. Win7 stores Macros and some GSAK information in different places to XP. You will have to do quite a but if tweaking to get everything working properly again and will probably have to do so with every macro you have! It took me a while but the change to Win7 is worth it Quote Link to comment
+metal-bijou
Didn't know this could be done. Can someone help with how I can set this up please? I hate having the flags. Quote Link to comment
+Matthew 7:7 Too
I can't find any reference to this macro in the GSAK Macro Index at http://gsak.net/board/MacroIndex.php. Is it still current? However there is this thread http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=...amp;#entry93634 in the GSAK Support forum which discusses the problems users are sometimes experiencing when updating from XP to Vist or Win7. The GSAK forum is well supported by experts in the program and its macros, and I'd always suggest seeking help there first rather than in the Groundspeak forums -- not that they aren't also used by GSAK users, but the GSAK forums are more used to helping to resolve issues with the program.
