+GordEtob
Has anyone heard of a geocache hidden in someome's backyard in an igloo or a snow fort, somewhere in the Ottawa area? I remember seeing it a year or two ago and wondered if it's back in action again. Naturally, I forgot to record the name of the cache or its ID number! Quote Link to comment

Thanks, swimmrguy, that's the one! I see that it was only active for one season and then archived. P.S. Hi Tequila! Quote Link to comment
+TheRealZed
Yes, a couple of winters ago. model12 set up the quinze in his backyard when we had 400 cm of snow. I don't believe the snow conditions have allowed for a quinze cache in the past couple of winters... The Real Zed Quote Link to comment
+narcissa
The quinzee cache was great! Quote Link to comment
+model12
Yes, the snow accumulation the last few years has been so dismal, and the temperature so warm that I couldn't maintain another quinzee. If the weather cooperates, it'll return though. Quote Link to comment
