+goddardicus
How long do you think I should wait for a reply to a virtual cache email? I completed a virtual cache, submitted the email to the cache owner via the 'Send Message' feature and not heard anything. Also resubmitted the same message a few days later and still no reply. And the cache owner is active cos I can see when they last visited the website? Should I just claim the cache and log it anyway (it says not to in the logs). What would you do? Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin
Generally, I e-mail the info, and then log the find. I get responses from about 80% of the cache owners. Or you could wait about two weeks, and if you get no response, take the lack of response as tacit approval. Quote Link to comment
+goddardicus
Cheers for the advice Harry. Been waiting a week so will log it and see what happens. I certainly don't want to piss off the cache owner though. See what happens I guess. Quote Link to comment

+jeffbouldin
I log Virtuals and send emails the same time. Never had an issue and I can't remember anytime I've had an owner email me back that my answers were correct. There was one time I was questioned when I was using a software that logged the find online in the field. The owner sent me an email asking if I was going to answer and I did, all was well. +t4e
i may be stating the obvious here, but have you checked your junk mail folder? Quote Link to comment
AZcachemeister
I always reply to virtual and EarthCache emails, but I don't expect finders to wait for that reply before logging. If your answers are wrong, I'll let you know before deleting your log. Quote Link to comment

Clan Riffster
Should I just claim the cache and log it anyway? Ya know, since you're on the right side of the pond, you could just move to Germany and log every virtual on the planet. Quote Link to comment
+goddardicus
i may be stating the obvious here, but have you checked your junk mail folder? Yep, did all the checking of junk mail and nothing there. It's all logged now and as it's not been removed i guess my email answers were correct after all. Cheers all for your help.
