+mndvs737
If you have any type of smartphone (BlackBerry, etc.) that can receive email, set it up so that your emails come to the phone as well as your "mailbox" on your computer or email host. Quote Link to comment

I listed them all for you. If your phone can receive pix (sometimes even not) you can get these just like text msgs. Just replace the XXXXXXX with your phone number. The sms does not allow enough characters. For that you will need to use one of the services that break up the message, a real pain. Quote Link to comment

I tested this on my phone... for Sprint, the first address you listed (@messaging.sprintpcs.com) truncates the message at 140 characters. The second one (@pm.sprint.com) sends the full message. Alltel = xxxxxxxxxx@message.alltel.com Amp'd Mobile = xxxxxxxxxx@vtext.com etc. etc. This sounds interesting However aren't all those carriers American ones? Could you let me know how to make it work on 3 or Orange in the UK please? Quote Link to comment
+Bubbles&Bonkers
I have AT&T and use this service. Just so you know, it just gives the cache GC#, name, and distance. Then I go to a computer to look up the coords and other info because I don't have the internet on my phone. But I'm saving up for my iPhone. ) Quote Link to comment
