But I guess perhaps not if you translate that into Internet years BTW looks like "Groundspeak.com" is registered July 1 2000. http://www.whois.net/whois/Groundspeak.com Groundspeak's "about" page also has this to say : "Jeremy Irish started the Geocaching.com web site as a hobby in August, 2000."
