+mutt&bob
I recently purchased a Oregon 400t to use for Geocaching. I went to set a cache, but couldn't find "averageing". I had a 60CSx before and I like to avarage the cache locations for better accurancy. I can't find any info in the manual. I thought I seen it somewhere when I was playing around. Can anyone help?? +StarBrand
If you have the latest firmware - you "can" do averaging but it really isn't necessary. See this article: http://garmin.blogs.com/softwareupdates/20...-averaging.html Quote Link to comment
+2beabout
Fastest was I know is to mark a waypoint, then go to other, then waypoint averaging. Quote Link to comment

I did not either after I updated, I had to go to "Set up", "Main Menu"... I think. Then go all the way to the right. There should be some Icons that are not active (grayed out). You will have to play around with it... they should be there somewhere. Quote Link to comment
