+We Gotta Hunt Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 Hi everyone I just pulled the plug and purchased a 550T from amazon to replace my etrex legend hcx and was wondering if there is a mount available to fit the garmin beanbag mount I have for my etrex. I have looked on ebay and whatnot and cant find one yet..are they even available? Or am I going to have to make one Thanks for the insight Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 My auto kit had a mount similar to the Nuvi's. No beanbag. A suction cup. That said a Colorado mount should work for the oregon. Try that avenue in your search. Quote Link to comment

Dash mount, 010-10747-02, https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=1370 fits into teh "old style" beanbag mounts. The ball is the same as the Oregon/Colorado auto mount, 010-10851-10, https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=15428 It is kind of an expensive route with a lot of extra parts, but that is what you asked for... +Red90 Posted July 23, 2009 Share Posted July 23, 2009 (edited) I just checked and got 0.673" (17.1 mm), I assume close enough to 11/16. AFAIK, all Garmin balls are the same size .
