  1. I have the same setup that knight2000 uses..I have 0 complaints! It's an awesome charger! I use three different batteries right now..eneloops,energizers and duracels. The only difference I have noticed is the eneloops hold a charge longer during storage.
  2. Yeah I figured it would be kind of "weird" to log your own cache It just didnt feel right ya know?
  3. Is this acceptable? And do any of you do it? I never thought about it until today when I accidently logged my own as a find while writing a note for it.
  4. I looked into reinstalling the software but webupdater says there is no software I can install? It dont even show the current software..any ideas?

  6. The first time it shut off I was on the highway using city navigator. The second time I was on a trail using the compass.I haven't been able to duplicate it yet.I have already emailed Garmin ..we'll see what they say sometime next week.
  7. I'll never have a hand held without city navigator.I use that to get me there and then use the compass or topo map from the truck to the cache. I just got my 550T a few days ago and am loving it !! Some people say not to buy it already on a sd card but if you do you can move the chip from unit to unit with no problem.

Aight..got my 550T a few days ago..Loving it so far except for the random shutdowns it's doing.It's only done it twice so far and has been on for almost three days Has anyone read anything about this yet? Also I have another question I'll ask here since it's on my mind..Is there a way to show the "found caches" by date found and not from miles from home? Thanks guys

Hi everyone I just pulled the plug and purchased a 550T from amazon to replace my etrex legend hcx and was wondering if there is a mount available to fit the garmin beanbag mount I have for my etrex. I have looked on ebay and whatnot and cant find one yet..are they even available? Or am I going to have to make one Thanks for the insight
  13. I always have a bag of "hotwheels" cars in my backpack.I put each one in a small ziplock bag to keep it from rusting.What kid dont like hotwheels?? And of course we have other stuff too but the cars you can get cheap

  18. I was looking to update my city navigator on micro sd (I didnt buy the dvd version).All I can find is the new 2009 on dvd or micro sd card.Is there an update or do I need to purchase 2009 now? I'll keep looking into it but thanks for for any help you can give
