KoolGirl
I'm new so excuse my ignorance... I've seen the term "nano infestation" and "another nano" but I don't know what that means - any help? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Rick618
It's a very small cache container. Nano and pico are both used. An example can be seen here: http://www.cachingbox.com/index.php?act=vi...mp;productId=73 Edited April 26, 2009 by Rick618 Quote Link to comment
+GIDEON-X
Definition of NanoNano: From the Greek word Nanos - meaning "dwarf" this prefix is used in the metric system to mean 10-9 or one billionth (1/1000000000). ... And as Rick618 posted a smal micro cache container.............. Quote Link to comment

One other thing in addition to the posted definitions... NANO often equals TROUBLE... The things are often a pain to find! On the other hand that IS what we do... find the difficult, or easy. Have fun... try to find some bigger ones and work down. Doug Quote Link to comment
+SkellyCA
The other problem with nanos is getting that log out, then back in! Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
BTW - nano is quite un-official. Anything film can or smaller is by definition - a micro sized cache. Quote Link to comment
+DiamondDaveG
The other picture shows it with the package but doesnt give an idea of the size. Here is what it looks like laying next to a dime. Quote Link to comment
+niraD
Around here, the kind of cache shown in DiamondDaveG's post is called a blinker. A blinker is a common type of nano-cache, but a nano-cache is anything so small that it holds only a custom fit log sheet. I've found several that are not blinkers. Quote Link to comment
