+Sioneva Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I'm going to be in Ambler in the beginning of April, vacationing, bugging my bother, and caching - I'll be bringing some trackables. Any "must-see", "don't miss this" caches in the area that I should see and shouldn't miss? Thanks! Quote

+linuxxpert Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I used to live in Ambler... not anymore though, I am about and hour north. If you are willing to drive 1-2 hours check out my caches and I also have some great public bookmarks. Quote

+edscott Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 If you can get west a couple turnpike exits, try French Creek State Park, the adjoining state game lands and the Birdsboro Reservoir area. Its almost all woodland with very very few poor caches. There are 20-30 good ones in the area. Tell me your time limitations and "numbers" goals and I can make more specific recommendations. Quote

I'm flying home tomorrow, so I don't think I'll be able to get there this trip - but I've scribbled a note to myself for next time. I got a few in Ambler, a few in Gettysburg while touring the battlefield - not a high amount, but they were all enjoyable, so I'm not complaining. Thanks! Quote
+edscott Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 We were in Gettysburg the week before you.. probably why I didn't see your post until it was too late. We did two of the same caches. E-mail me before your next visit and I can give you a local update. Quote
