map help needed

I've just done a multi cache. Got the first which gave me the coordinates for the main n52??? W0??? my gps sends you "as the crow flies" through a bog, accross a stream over a hedge etc. How can I transfer the n/w coordinates onto a map so that I can find an eaier route to my cache? Hope this makes sense.

The quick answer is to

 

1) enter the new way point into your GPSr in N/W format

2) change your GPSr into 'British Grid' mode from the setup menu

3) read off the grid ref from the waypoint previously entered and locate on OS map

4) reset GPSr back to Lat/Long mode

You need to change the WGS84 to OSGB or Ord Srvy GB dependent on make/model

You'll note that you have 10 digits and not the usual 6, just ignore digits 4,5, 9 & 10

SO THATS 74.1 ALONG THE BOTTOM AND 77.9 UP THE SIDE?
