+sguthery
I purchased some of the Fallen Hero coins from USA Geocoins. They are described a "pre-activated" so I can't seem to retrieve an activation code from them. On the other hand, to register a geocoin with Groundspeak I need an activation code. What's a mother to do? Thanks for any insight. Cheers, Scott Quote Link to comment

Here is a little excerpt from they sellers webpage quote: "THESE COINS ARE PRE-ACTIVATED AND CAN NOT BE ADOPTED. THEY ARE ALL 'OWNED' BY A SPECIAL ACCOUNT SETUP ESPECIALLY FOR THESE COINS!! +VirginiaGator
I hadn't read that until after the coins I ordered arrived. Don't know how I missed it. I wasn't a happy camper though. You can bet I read EVERYTHING before "purchasing" now! Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
These coins were produced to honor Fallen Soldiers. Here is the original thread to explain their history and the reasoning behind the pre-activation. Quote Link to comment
+Captain Jon
I bought three at Geocoinfest and could not be prouder to move these along. Can't imagine anyone wanting to keep one/own one in a collection when they were clearly meant to move along. Quote Link to comment
