GPS is like any other electronics technology... what you buy today will be out of date tomorrow. I'd buy what you like today and use it and be happy with it. I've had to do that with computers, cameras, GPS.

My Nuvi GPS 260 was a new model when I bought it a year ago last December... it was old hat in 2 months. But it still does what I bought it for, so I'm still happy with it. In fact it's even more useful now that I've decided to take up geocaching, because I can use it in conjunction with my eTex Summit for paperless caching.

You can drive yourself nuts trying to stay ahead of the game... just get with works for you and enjoy it... happy hunting!
